A New Way to Explore Flavour
BGS recently welcomed the DaVinci Gourmet team for an exciting product sharing and training session, introducing us to their latest innovation — the DaVinci Gourmet Xtracts Series.
More than just a new product introduction, the session gave our team an opportunity to discover the inspiration behind Xtracts, understand its different flavour profiles, and most importantly, experience the flavours first-hand through a guided tasting session.
Meet the Xtracts Series
The new Xtracts collection features 10 distinctive flavours, thoughtfully grouped into Classic, Floral, Fruity and Exclusive profiles.
Each category brings a different personality to the table, opening up new possibilities for beverage creation — from familiar favourites to more adventurous flavour experiences.
Classic — Familiar Flavours, Reimagined
Comforting, versatile and instantly recognisable, the Classic collection brings three timeless favourites:
Velvety Vanilla
Smooth and comforting with the familiar character of vanilla, making it a versatile foundation for countless beverage creations.
Roasted Hazelnut

And Then There’s Palo Santo.
Sitting outside the three main flavour families is something a little more unexpected — Palo Santo, the Exclusive flavour of the Xtracts Series.
While Classic brings familiarity, Floral brings elegance and Fruity brings vibrancy, Palo Santo is created for those looking to explore a more distinctive flavour direction.
Its unique positioning makes it an intriguing option for signature beverages and concepts designed to stand apart from the ordinary.
More Than Just Tasting
The sharing session wasn’t simply about trying ten new flavours.
The DaVinci Gourmet team guided us through the Xtracts range, sharing product knowledge and helping our team better understand the characteristics and possibilities behind each flavour.
Through the flavour tasting session, we were able to experience how each profile differs — from the comforting notes of Velvety Vanilla and Roasted Hazelnut, to the delicate aroma of Sakura Bloom and Fragrant Jasmine, the refreshing brightness of Zesty Yuzu, and finally the distinctive experience of Palo Santo.
It was an opportunity to taste, compare, learn and imagine what comes next.
Exploring Different Levels of Sweetness
Alongside the ten Xtracts flavours, the session also introduced three sugar options, giving beverage creators another dimension to explore when developing their drinks.
Because creating a great beverage isn’t only about choosing the right flavour — sweetness can change how that flavour is perceived, balanced and enjoyed.
Together, the Xtracts flavours and sugar selections provide more possibilities for businesses to experiment with combinations and develop beverages that better suit their concepts and customers.
