AB Mauri Malaysia recently launched “Rise with Mauri”, a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in collaboration with Ibupreneur, created to support and uplift women from economically vulnerable backgrounds.
Built around the belief that skills can create opportunities, Rise with Mauri brings together 20 women micro-entrepreneurs for a hands-on baking masterclass. The programme is designed for women who are currently running a food business, as well as those who hope to take their first steps into entrepreneurship.
Turning Baking Skills into Opportunities
For many aspiring entrepreneurs, having the right skills, knowledge and resources can make a significant difference when starting or growing a small business.
Through the Rise with Mauri programme, participants receive practical baking guidance and hands-on learning that can be applied directly to their businesses. Beyond learning how to create great baked products, the programme aims to help participants strengthen their confidence and develop skills that can potentially be turned into sustainable sources of income.

As part of the initiative, AB Mauri also extended further support through its Chiller Donation Program, providing selected recipients with equipment that can support their food businesses.
