Nippon Shokken Chef Visits BGS Test Kitchen for Product Sharing & Food Tasting

Our BGS Test Kitchen recently welcomed a chef from Nippon Shokken for an engaging product sharing and food tasting session with our team.

The session provided an opportunity for us to experience Nippon Shokken’s products beyond the packaging, seeing how they can be incorporated into different dishes and applied in an actual kitchen environment.

From Product to Plate

During the session, the chef prepared a selection of dishes using Nippon Shokken products, demonstrating how different sauces and seasonings can help create flavourful dishes while keeping preparation practical and consistent.

From savoury meat dishes and noodles to comforting chicken preparations and crispy fried favourites, the tasting showcased the versatility of the products across different cooking styles and menu applications.

More importantly, the demonstration allowed our team to better understand the flavour profiles, preparation methods and potential applications of each product.

Learning Through Tasting

Product knowledge becomes much more meaningful when we can actually taste the results.

Our team had the opportunity to sample the dishes, exchange feedback and discuss how the products could potentially be used in different foodservice settings and menu concepts.

The interactive session also encouraged plenty of conversation around flavour, cooking techniques and possible applications — turning the test kitchen into a space for both learning and discovery.

Exploring More Food Solutions Together

At BGS, our test kitchen is not only a place for cooking demonstrations. It is also where we work together with our principals and partners to explore products, understand their applications and discover new possibilities for our customers.

A big thank you to the Nippon Shokken team and chef for visiting us and sharing their product knowledge, cooking expertise and delicious creations with our team.

We look forward to exploring more exciting food solutions together.
